Which Law School Faculties Are Most Cited?

The faculty members at Yale, Harvard and Chicago law schools have written articles that are the most cited in law school journals over the past five years, according to a study by three University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) law professors.

The rest of the top 15 schools are:
4.   Stanford
5.   NYU
6.   Columbia
7.   UC-Irvine
8.   Vanderbilt
9.   Cornell
10.  UC-Berkeley
11.  Pennsylvania, Duke
13.  Northwestern
14.  UCLA
15.  Michigan

The survey ranked the top third of ABA-accredited schools on the US News list. It also found that schools that placed in scholarly rank well above their US News rank included Brooklyn, Cardozo, Case Western, Chapman, Colorado, Florida State, George Mason, Hawaii, Hofstra, Houston, Missouri–Columbia, Nevada–Las Vegas, New York Law School, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers–Camden, Seattle, and the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota).

Three schools accredited in the past two decades -- the  University of St. Thomas, Nevada–Las Vegas, and Chapman -- "have already made a scholarly impact that dramatically outpaces their present academic reputations."
